CRISPR/Cas9 gene-editing will be used in human embryos: Doudna

U.S. geneticist Jennifer Doudna, one of this year's three recipients of the Tang Prize in biopharmaceutical science, said Saturday that public education on the gene-editing technology she is being honored for is needed, especially when considering its use in human embryos.
