Taiwan's Mainland Affairs Council (MAC) on Thursday defended a decision by the military-run National Defense Medical Center (NDMC) to revoke the admission of a China-born student, citing the applicant's failure to meet the requirement of having held household registration in Taiwan for at least 20 years.
