The United States sees Taiwan as a vital partner and looks forward to working with President-elect Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文) and her incoming administration to build on the foundation established during the past eight years, American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) Director Kin Moy (梅健華) said Thursday.
