Sticking to the values of Taiwan's sovereignty and independence has become inherent in the younger generation, opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Chairwoman Tsai Ing-wen said Saturday, questioning why the party's Taiwan independence clause should be frozen or abolished.
