An air services agreement signed between the Republic of China (Taiwan) and Nicaragua went into effect on Wednesday after Carlos Salazar, director general of the Nicaraguan Institute of Civil Aeronautics, inked the accord on behalf of the Nicaraguan government that day in Managua.
