Duck farm in Pingtung hit by avian flu, 2,406 birds culled

Taipei, June 23 (CNA) A duck farm in Pingtung County, southern Taiwan, has been confirmed to be infected with the highly pathogenic H5N2 avian influenza virus, leading to the culling of 2,406 birds, the county's Animal Disease Control Center said Friday.
