The Coast Guard Administration (CGA) said Sunday that it has been consistently protecting a Taiwanese fishing boat flotilla heading for Taiping Island in the South China Sea to highlight Republic of China sovereignty and fishing rights on and around the island, ever since the boats departed July 20 from a port in the southern county of Pingtung.
