Steam spotted rising from Taiwan Strait amid cold spell

The Taiwan Strait was steaming, a surfer in the southern Taiwan county of Pingtung said Sunday, as Taiwan was reeling under a strong cold spell that brought snow to many places around the subtropical island, where snow is rare and unusual.
