Taiwan to deport Chinese scholar for violation of entry permit rules

Visiting Chinese scholar Li Yi (李毅) will be asked to leave Taiwan because he is scheduled to make a public speech, which would not only violate the terms of his entry permit but may cause public unrest, the National Immigration Agency (NIA) said Thursday.
