Taiwan Scholarship suspended after São Tomé-Taiwan ties cut

Funding for students from São Tomé studying in Taiwan through the Taiwan Scholarship program will be suspended, the Ministry of Education (MOE) said on Wednesday, after diplomatic links between the two countries were severed.
