Hong Kong, April 19 (CNA) A visa-free travel agreement between Hong Kong and the Republic of Montenegro will take effect Friday, the Hong Kong Immigration Department announced Thursday.
Montenegro will grant visa-free access to Hong Kong passport holders for stays of up to 90 days, the department said, adding that Montenegro nationals may visit Hong Kong for stays of no longer than 14 days without a visa.
"The visa-free arrangement means greater travel convenience for HKSAR passport holders and helps promote trade, business and tourism links between Hong Kong and the Republic of Montenegro," a department spokesman said.
A total of 144 countries or territories presently grant visa-free access or visa-on-arrival privileges to Hong Kong passport holders. (Stanley Cheung)
