Bucking world trend, hotel room prices in Taiwan fall 1%

While prices for overnight accommodation rose 3 percent globally in 2018 from a year earlier, reaching the highest level since 2004, the average hotel room price in Taiwan dropped 1 percent year-on-year, according to research results released Monday by online travel portal Hotels.com.
