Yilan, Tamsui, Taipei record lowest temperatures since December

The combined strengths of the ongoing cold spell and radiative cooling effects in the early hours of Saturday morning brought temperatures in Taipei and New Taipei's Tamsui in the north, as well as Yilan County in the northeast to their lowest level since the beginning of December, according to the Central Weather Bureau (CWB).
