Taiwan to inspect imported edible bird's nests batch by batch

Imported edible dried and blood-red bird's  nests will be checked batch by batch for nitrite contamination,  starting Wednesday, and those that are found to contain the  preservative would not be allowed into Taiwan, a health official said  Wednesday.
