Acer cashing in on economic stimulus package with new phone launch

Taiwanese PC maker Acer Inc. (宏碁) launched four smartphones priced at under NT$6,500 (US$200) in the domestic market Wednesday to cash in on a government short-term stimulus package aimed at boosting the local economy.
