China could speed up exit permits to Taiwan: tourism official

Chinese authorities may reduce the time needed to process exit permits for citizens en route to Taiwan, a move expected to complement the introduction of landing visas for Chinese citizens on several Taiwan-controlled islands, a Taiwanese tourism official said.
