Taipei, June 1 (CNA) A reciprocal working holiday program between Taiwan and Israel, allowing up to 200 young people from each country to live and work in the other for up to a year, is now open for applications, Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) said Sunday.
The program allows Taiwanese and Israelis between the ages of 18 and 30 to work in Israel and Taiwan for one year. The agreement was signed by both sides on May 3, 2023 and applications are now open, MOFA said in a statement.
The ministry said the program is expected to give young participants a chance to experience life in another country, learn about each other's cultures and deepen mutual understanding and friendship.
For more information on how to apply, visit https://www.youthtaiwan.net or https://new.embassies.gov.il/taipei/zh-hant, the ministry said.
Currently, Taiwan and 18 countries around the world have reciprocal working holiday programs, according to MOFA.
