Taiwan's inflation below 2% alert in 2025, lowest in 5 years

Taiwan's inflation dipped to a low of 1.66 percent in 2025, the lowest annual figure in five years and the first time in four years it has fallen below a 2 percent alert set by the central bank, the Directorate General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics (DGBAS) said Wednesday.
