Weather in Taiwan to remain hot with chance of afternoon showers

The weather around Taiwan will remain hot on Monday, with a chance of occasional showers or thunderstorms forecast for southern Taiwan, as well as Hualien and Taitung in the east, according to the Central Weather Bureau (CWB).
