Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文), chairwoman of the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), said Tuesday that energy policy will have priority should the DPP become the ruling party and that promoting energy-saving, as well as developing renewable energy, will be the party's two major tasks.
