Taiwan, U.S. need to cooperate for cross-strait peace: U.S. scholar

Cooperation between Taiwan and the United States is needed to maintain the peace and stability of the Taiwan Strait, a visiting U.S. scholar told Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) lawmakers on Friday.
