Unlicensed driver, 7 others injured in downtown Taipei car crash

A car driven by a 78-year-old man who did not have a driver's license crashed into a bus, two scooters, and three other vehicles in downtown Taipei Friday. The driver and seven others were injured in the incident, local police said. \n\nCCTV footage showed the man's black car speeding through a red light at the intersection of Chongqing South Road and Wuchang Street and then crashing into vehicles that were stopped at Xiangyang Road at around 2:20 p.m. The driver later tested negative for alcohol, and the cause of the crash remains unclear.\n\n#taiwan #taipei #traffic
