Penghu County Council speaker, secretary detained over alleged graft

The Penghu District Court on Tuesday night approved a motion filed by prosecutors to detain Kuomintang (KMT) Penghu County Speaker Liu Chen Zhao-ling (劉陳昭玲) and her secretary Chen Shu-mei (陳淑美) with restricted contact for alleged corruption.
