FPG gas explosion triggered by LPG leak: Labor ministry

A preliminary report into a Sunday gas explosion at a Formosa Plastic Group (FPG) plant in Yunlin County found that the incident was triggered by a leak of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) due to a corroded pipeline, the Ministry of Labor Affairs (MOL) said Monday.
