Air quality poor in western Taiwan, Kinmen

Air quality was poor in western parts of Taiwan and the outlying island of Kinmen Sunday, with the index for fine particulate matter smaller than 2.5 micrometers (PM2.5) hitting hazardous levels, according to the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA, 環保署).
