Taiwan and Japan on Thursday signed two memorandums of understanding (MOUs) to enhance bilateral cooperation in tackling smuggling and illegal immigration, as well as in marine scientific research, during an annual Taiwan-Japan dialogue on maritime affairs cooperation held in Tokyo.
