Taiwan, U.S. to avoid trouble during Tsai stopovers: ex-AIT official

Both Taiwan and the United States want to avoid trouble during President Tsai Ing-wen's (蔡英文) stopovers in the United States during her trip to Central America, a former director of the American Institute in Taiwan's Taipei office said Friday.
