Over 1 million visit Taiwan Lantern Festival Saturday

More than 1 million viewers visited the Taiwan Lantern Festival in Taipei on Saturday, the highest single-day figure so far for the 2023 edition of the annual event, though the crowd did not hit 90 percent capacity which would require safety measures to be implemented, the organizers said.
