Taiwan minister claims U.S. public supports TSMC amid Arizona union spat

Economics Minister Wang Mei-hua (王美花) said Monday that the U.S. public mostly supports Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.'s (TSMC) under-construction Arizona plant, amid criticism from labor unions over the chipmaker's plan to bring in workers from Taiwan.
