CORONAVIRUS/Singapore Airlines to resume three Taoyuan-Singapore weekly flights
Taipei, Aug. 4 (CNA) Singapore Airlines said it will restart three services per week between Taoyuan and Singapore from September, following the temporary suspension of flights due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The airline, which suspended flights to and from Taiwan in early April, will fly every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday using a Boeing 787-10 jet.
Passengers who are not Singaporean nationals nor permanent residents, must have approval from the Singapore government in order to enter the country, the airline added.
With only a few exceptions, all inbound travelers to Singapore are required to quarantine themselves at home for 14 days, according to the airline.
Meanwhile, Singapore Airlines Group (Singapore Airlines, SilkAir and Scoot) passengers originating from Taiwan, along with some other countries, are allowed transit at Singapore's Changi Airport.
