Bad habit of not following SOP blamed for Aug. 15 blackout

State-owned fuel supplier CPC Corp, Taiwan (CPC) Chairman Chen Chin-te (陳金德) has blamed an operational error in his company's natural gas supply that led to an islandwide power outage on Tuesday, describing it as being due to the "bad habit" of not following standard operating procedure (SOP).
