Restrictions on hiring foreign nationals in Taiwan eased

The Executive Yuan on Wednesday decided to ease restrictions on hiring or retaining foreign professionals, students and laborers in Taiwan, which is expected to keep an additional 6,000 to 7,000 foreign nationals in Taiwan a year.
