TSMC chairman to receive IEEE medal of honor

The chairman and CEO of Taiwan Semiconductor  Manufacturing Co. (TSMC), Morris Chang, is to be awarded the 2011  Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Medal of Honor  for his contributions to the world's semiconductor industry, the IEEE  said Thursday.
