No. 2 reactor at 2nd nuclear plant resumes power generation

The No. 2 reactor at the second nuclear power plant in New Taipei's Wanli District resumed operations early Wednesday after being taken offline Tuesday for a safety inspection and is expected to reach full capacity in late June at the earliest, according to state-run utility Taiwan Power Co. (Taipower).
