High-speed rail service in southern Taiwan remains suspended

Taiwan's high-speed rail service between Taichung in central Taiwan and Zuoying, Kaohsiung in the south will remain out of service due to safety concerns as its electric lines north of Chiayi Station was damaged in a magnitude 6.4 earthquake Saturday, Taiwan High Speed Rail Corp. (THSRC) said Sunday.
