Taipei suggests air pollution charge on aviation fuel

Taipei City Government has urged the nation's two oil refiners to produce low-sulfur fuel for aircraft and recommended the collection of an air pollution charge, after finding the amount of sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions from aircraft over the city was larger than that of automobiles.
