Number of new cancer patients on the rise in Taiwan

More than 92,000 people, or one in 251 residents of Taiwan, were diagnosed with cancer in 2011, an increase of more than 2,000 from the previous year, according to figures released by the Health Promotion Administration (HPA) Tuesday.
