New rules in Kaohsiung will give whistleblowers handsome cash reward

Kaohsiung's city council amended municipal food safety rules Wednesday to offer whistleblowers 60 percent of fines levied on convicted companies -- the highest cash award offered by any jurisdiction in Taiwan.
