Taipei, April 7 (CNA) Leaders of the student protesters said Monday that they will withdraw from the Legislature's main chamber at 6 p.m. Thursday after occupying the venue since March 18 in protest of a controversial trade-in-services pact with China.

President Ma Ying-jeou immediately welcomed the students' decision to leave the Legislature and allow its operations to return to normal.
