E-payments add US$1.87 billion to Taiwan's GDP: study

Increased use of electronic methods of payment, including credit, debit and prepaid cards, added US$1.87 billion (about NT$61.7 billion) to Taiwan's GDP and created 9,980 jobs per year between 2011 and 2015, according to the results of a study released Monday by Visa Inc.
