China's Red Cross pledges 2m yuan to Taiwan's quake relief efforts

Zhang Zhijun (張志軍), head of China's Taiwan Affairs Office, said Saturday that the Red Cross Society of China will donate 2 million yuan (about US$300,138) to the rescue and relief work in Taiwan in the aftermath of a deadly 6.4-magnitude earthquake that struck the island earlier the same day.
