2016 visit by TAO chief will hinge on public opinion: official

Mainland Affairs Council (MAC) Minister Hsia Li-yan (夏立言) said Friday that he has invited his Chinese counterpart, Zhang Zhijun (張志軍), to visit Taiwan next year, but added that whether the visit will go ahead will depend on public opinion after the Jan. 16 presidential election.
