China's top cross-strait negotiator to visit Taiwan next month: official

Chen Deming (陳德銘), president of China's Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits (ARATS), will visit Taiwan in early November but will not meet with any political figures during his stay, an official of Taiwan's counterpart organization said Wednesday.
