China official stresses '1992 consensus' as basis for negotiations

Zhang Zhijun (張志軍), chief of the Taiwan Affairs Office under China's State Council, told a Taiwanese official Tuesday in Fuzhou that "the "1992 consensus" is the foundation of cross-strait negotiations, and if that foundation is not secured, everything built on it will collapse.
