Taipei, Jan. 5 (CNA) The body of a Taiwanese victim in a New Year's Eve stampede in Shanghai was brought home by her family members Monday.

Chou Yi-an, 23, was killed during a stampede in which 35 others died and 49 were injured, including two other Taiwanese women.

The two -- Lee Yu-yun, 24, and Chen Chiu-hsuan, 23 -- had returned to Taiwan on Jan. 3.

All three are emloyees of accounting firm Earnst and Young. They were on a business trip to Shanghai.

The two had been at Shanghai's waterfront district for a New Year's celebration along with Chou, who died in the chaos that broke out.

A ritual was held upon the arrival of the flight from Sanghai in the evening before Chou's body was transported to a funeral house in Taichung, central Taiwan.
