Taiwan to regulate potential carcinogen in baby food

Taiwan will begin regulating the amount of permitted glycidyl fatty acid esters (GEs) -- a substance that could be carcinogenic in humans -- in certain food products manufactured for infants and young children from July 1, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said Thursday.
