Taiwanese arrested for fraud in Dominican Republic: CIB

Over 70 Taiwanese nationals have been arrested over the past year, mostly in Taiwan, on suspicion of being involved in a telecom fraud scheme in the Dominican Republic, the Criminal Investigation Bureau (CIB) said Friday.
