Taiwan students tops in world in mathematics literacy

Taiwan students have been ranked as the topperformers in mathematics among students from a total of 57 countriesand regions surveyed worldwide, according to the results of theOrganization for Economic Cooperation and Development's (OECD's)Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) 2006 releasedTuesday.
