Matsu's human history could trace back to late Tang Dynasty

Pottery shards unearthed recently from aprehistoric archaeological site in a village in southern Matsu provethat history involving human activity in the Taiwan-held island coulddate back to the late Tang Dynasty, Matsu officials in charge ofcultural affairs said Thursday.
