Taipei, March 16 (CNA) Taiwan-based PC brand Asustek Computer Inc. (華碩) launched its latest business laptop, the Asus Pro B9440 Thursday, which it claims to be the world's lightest 14-inch model, weighing only 1.05 kilograms.

Powered by Intel's Core i5/i7 CPUs, the ultra-thin business laptop can work for 10 hours on one charge, Asustek said in a statement.

With fast charging capabilities, it can charge to 50 percent in just 30 minutes, the company said.

The Windows 10-powered device is priced at NT$40,900 (US$1,334) for the Core i5 version, and NT$52,900 for the i7 version, it said.
